Comprehensive Pediatric Testing That Actually Helps

Understand what’s going on, why it’s happening, and what to do next—especially during early and middle childhood.

 ADHD ◆ Autism ◆ Dyslexia ◆ Gifted ◆ Anxiety & Learning Differences

When something feels “off” and nothing seems to fully explain it, you are not looking for more guesswork.  You are looking for clarity—a plan that makes sense in real life.

My evaluations are designed to help parents understand what is going on, why it is happening, and what to do next–especially during early and middle childhood, when comprehensive and thoughtful assessment matters most.

Most families are scheduled within 2-4 weeks and receive a completed report within 6-8 weeks of our first call.

Call and tell me a little about what you are noticing.  If I am the right person to help, we will get you scheduled.  If not, I will point you to the best local option.

How the evaluation process works (no surprises)

First call:

We talk briefly so I can understand your concerns, see how I can be helpful, and let you know of current availability.

Initial intake appointment (60-90 minutes):

All primary caregivers who are involved in your child’s life attend.  Everyone’s perspective matters.  Your child comes too—we will talk together first, then they can play while adults finish sharing background.

Testing day:

Usually, one morning (9:00-12:30), just me and your child.  A caregiver stays in the waiting room.  Breaks, snacks, movement, and flexibility are built in so children can do their best — especially younger ones.

Feedback meeting:

Plain-English results, developmentally appropriate explanations, and a collaborative plan that fits your child and family.  Parents can attend on their own or bring their child — it’s your choice.

Final report (within 2 weeks of feedback):

Clear, practical, and usable.  You will receive 3-5 concrete recommendations for home, school, and therapy – -no fluff, no overwhelm.

What makes this different?

This is not just about answering a diagnostic question!

Each evaluation results in a clear, practical User’s Manual for your child – – so parents, teachers, and providers know how to respond with understanding rather than trial and error. That is especially important for young children whose skills are still developing and whose behavior is often misunderstood.

Testing is always developmentally grounded, child-centered, and integrated with real-world support.
